We are a Rolls-Royce Gold Award supplier, the highest level of supplier recognition in the Rolls-Royce performance framework. We are a make to print precision manufacturer, JOSCAR registered and fully approved to Rolls-Royce GS3001, the nuclear quality standard that governs supply into the UK’s submarine and civil nuclear programmes. Our accreditations, processes and documentation disciplines are built around the requirements of safety critical manufacture, not adapted from commercial practice.

Cost, quality, and delivery are a given. We invest in the relationship, knowing your components in detail, keeping you updated throughout production, and managing the full process from purchase order receipt through to FAIR. Our team is fully conversant with nuclear documentation pack requirements and we have two Conformance Release Inspector (CRI) stamp holders on staff, enabling us to self-release nuclear components to programme requirements.

Programmes

We supply precision components into the Astute class submarine programme and the Dreadnought programme, safety critical nuclear programmes requiring the highest standards of manufacture, traceability and documentation.

We have completed our initial SMR audit and are approved as a supplier to the Rolls-Royce SMR programme, positioning HSM for civil nuclear new build as that programme moves towards delivery.

We have also manufactured components for the Sellafield glovebox project, safety critical containment equipment used in nuclear decommissioning and materials handling. This work requires exacting standards of precision and full documentary traceability throughout manufacture.

Every nuclear component is manufactured and documented to the standards that safety critical programmes demand, ISO9001 & GS3001 Quality management, full traceability, and complete nuclear substantiation packages. Nothing leaves our facility without the documentation to prove it.

We are also an accredited cutting subcontractor to other nuclear manufacturers requiring compliant laser and waterjet cut parts.
