From Silver to Gold
HSM Engineering — Rolls-Royce Going for Gold Business Maturity Assessment

The HSM Engineering team — Nottingham, 2026. Gold awarded by Rolls-Royce for Business Maturity. Earned, not given.
There are achievements that feel good, and then there are achievements that genuinely mean something. Recently Rolls-Royce came on site to present us with our Gold award to reflect years of consistent, uncompromising performance across delivery reliability, quality standards, and a genuine culture of continuous improvement. Receiving Gold in the Rolls-Royce Going for Gold Business Maturity Assessment was one of that makes us feel proud.
What the Assessment Means
The Rolls-Royce Business Maturity Assessment is a rigorous evaluation of a supplier’s overall capability. It reflects a sustained track record of 100% delivery and quality, continuous business improvement, sustainability targets and corporate social responsibility. Gold tells us that the work we have put into our processes, our people, and our culture hasn’t just been good enough it has been recognised at the highest level by one of the most demanding customers in British manufacturing.
This Belongs to the Team
This award is not a management achievement, It is a people achievement. Having the privilege of Rolls-Royce on site to present the award in person and sharing that moment with the people who earned it made it special.
A genuine thank you to Rolls-Royce for the support throughout this journey and for the recognition. Teamwork and partnering like this don’t happen without investment from both sides.
Gold is not a destination, It is a standard to defend and build on. We will keep investing in our people, our processes, and our capability because that is what this team deserves, and what our customers expect.
